Germany Day 1

Sunday 28th July - Day 1

Today we travelled from Manchester to Berlin for the 2nd part of our European exchange , we met at the airport and check in ran smoothly. The flight was on time and we arrived in Berlin as expected, we stepped off the plane and were greeted by an enormous wave of heat! Berlin was very very hot, we were told that it was the hottest day of the year so far!!! 

We were met at the airport by Tina and William and we then travelled to Potsdam by train and tram.  We arrived at Hoch 3 where we are staying and was met by the  rest of our German friends who had put together a fantastic spread of food and BBQ to great us. Thanks guys :)

After eating we had a discussion about the rest of the weeks plans and agreed some ground rules for the week, splitting into working groups agreeing a rota for our cooking, blogging and problem solving task, we then called it a night as we have a very busy week ahead!
